Pedestrian Struck By Two Cars Dies At Hospital Weeks After Crash In MD, Police Say

A 75-year-old man was killed after being struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross a busy Baltimore County roadway earlier this month.

Bernard Emanuel died at an area hospital weeks after he was struck near the intersection of Rolling Road and Dogwood Road in Windsor Mill, according to police.

Detectives say that Emanuel was walking across Rolling Road when he was struck by a 2004 Acura TL that was traveling southbound on the roadway. He was then his by a second vehicle traveling in the opposite direction that sped away.

The driver of the Acura remained at the scene to assist with the investigation. The other did not.

Emanuel was rushed to an area hospital, where he stayed for several weeks until his death, the Baltimore County Police Department announced on Tuesday, July 25. 

The crash remains under investigation.
